- Pando Finance plans to list a Solana ETF in Hong Kong on October 13.
- The ETF offers direct exposure to SOL without staking, derivatives, or leverage.
- HashKey Exchange will handle SOL transactions, while HashKey Custody Services will safeguard the assets.
The Launch Details
The Pando Solana ETF is structured to allow up to 100% of its net asset value to be allocated to Solana. Investors can subscribe in lots of 100 shares, with the indicative issue price ranging from HK$7.80 to HK$8 per share. The fund will charge a 0.6% annual management fee, which is lower than the 0.99% fee of ChinaAMC’s existing Solana ETF.
Market Infrastructure
Pando has partnered with HashKey Exchange for executing Solana transactions, while HashKey Custody Services will handle the safe custody of the digital assets. The ETF will not engage in staking, derivatives, or leverage, focusing instead on providing straightforward exposure to the cryptocurrency’s market value.
Regulatory Environment
The planned launch of this ETF comes amid Hong Kong’s ongoing efforts to expand its regulated digital asset market. The city introduced spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in April 2024 and continues to refine its regulatory framework to support digital asset trading and custody. These developments are part of a broader strategy to position Hong Kong as a leading hub for digital finance. For more on institutional adoption, see related institutional Solana coverage.
